2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser

Up front, the 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser employs an Independent Double-Wishbone Suspension with Coil Springs, Gas Shocks and Stabilizer Bar. The suspension is mounted high to deliver 7.87" of travel and to protect components from the hard reality of off-road exploration. With each wheel able to react independently and remain more upright, 2012 FJ Cruiser has the grip to get up and over serious off-road terrain. FJ features Variable Gear Ratio Steering which continually adjusts steering gearing depending on vehicle speed. The result: at high speeds a higher steering ratio delivers more relaxed steering, since the vehicle doesn't alter direction with every movement of the steering wheel. At lower speeds, low steering gearing keeps the steering tight and responsive allowing for quick changes of direction from small steering inputs.
